Curious how this is a “low key” story for the MSM

Aw drat. At least the article includes mention of the cynical ploy to get half the Star Trek theme’s royalties by Roddenberry however.

This is purely an insult – take a life, and get 30 days in jail? There is no excuse for anyone to not know that by drinking and driving they risk killing someone else, it should be charged as depraved indifference vehicular homicide and the perpetrators

Rolling Thunder XXI Videos
We’re still working on cleaning up the pictures we took over Memorial Day Weekend, and will post them as soon as they’re ready, but in the meantime, here’s the videos we shot.
Apologies for the quality, the videos were taken with a digital camera, not a video camera. The sound isn’t “wonderful” for the same reason, but you get the idea of why “Rolling Thunder” is a very appropriate name for the event.
This was the lead elements of Rolling Thunder XXI
A short clip of the military truck passing by.
Delayed
There’ll be a slight pause in posts here for a few days. Right now I’m in Chicago visiting my friend Jess, so I’m stuck with using either an iMac *spit* or a laptop running Windows Vista *gag*
Ahh, the sacrifices I make for friends

What’s in a name?
More proof that the universe has a sense of humour:
The State of Georgia has passed a law banning the sale of “pot candy”, marijuana-flavoured sweets.
The name of the man who is the main driving force behind the bill?
Senator Doug Stoner
Tempering the hilarity factor of this are the reported death threats sent to State Representative Judy Manning, apparently tracing back to the UK. What idiot who isn’t even affected by this thinks banning a candy is sufficient justification to send death threats over?

Silly question really.
